Most trays at this price are not. Search the category and you will find artificial leather, faux leather, and PU in the specification block, described as leather in the title. Ours is cowhide. It is the difference between something that cracks in three years and something that improves.
It gets better, which almost nothing does
Leather darkens and softens where it is handled. It will not look the same in a year as it does the day it arrives — the corners will go glossy where your hand lands. That is the reason to buy leather instead of plastic.
No frame, no lining, no glue holding the shape
The structure is the leather itself, held by the fastened corners. Fewer parts, fewer things to fail.

Materials and care
Cowhide.
Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators — both dry leather out. Condition occasionally with a neutral leather balm. Do not soak.
Delivery and returns
Orders are dispatched within 1 to 3 working days. Delivery across Europe takes approximately 9 working days from dispatch.
If it is not right, tell us within 30 days and we will arrange its return.
Before you buy
The things we would want to know first.
- Leather is a natural material. Grain, tone, and small marks vary between trays. Yours will not match the photograph exactly.
- It will darken with handling, most visibly in the first few months. This is intended.
- The corners are fastened, not stitched closed, so it is not watertight. It is a tray, not a dish.
- New leather has a smell. It fades over a few weeks.

Yes, cowhide. Not bonded, not PU, not artificial.
Will it hold its shape?
Yes. The corners are drawn up and fastened so the leather is its own structure — there is no frame inside.
Will the colour change?
It will darken and soften where it is handled, most in the first months, then slowly.
Can I clean it if something spills?
Wipe it with a barely damp cloth and let it dry away from heat. Do not soak it.
